They operate by means of a special rotor fixed to the bottom of the tank, which propels the material against a ring of fixed paddles (1st phase).
An auxiliary impeller, available on request, is fixed at a point halfway up in the tank for the blending of material in powder form (quartz, feldspath, grog) with the slip (2nd phase).
The average dissolving time for raw or already treated clay, including loading and unloading operations, is approx. 2 hours for a liquid with a specific weight of 1.4 Kg/dm3.
The average duration of the 2nd phase is 1 hour for a liquid with a specific weight of 1.8 Kg/dm3.
All parts involved in the dissolving process (rotor, fixed paddles, base of tank) are constructed in special steel of high wear resistance and easy to replace.
All heavy-duty blungers are furthermore provided with a trap for the collection of stones, which are periodically removed.
Transmission of models 500 and 1000 is belt-driven, whereas the other models are belt-driven and equipped with a gear reducer.
Maintenance is extremely simple and reduced to a minimum.
